Extra Performance began in 1977 after owner, Bob Connolly, developed a cult following with fellow drag racers. Bob has a long standing policy of no one works on his bike except himself. This modivation garnered many requests by fellow bikers to use his knowledge and expertise in working on their bikes. Working as a full time school teacher and bikes in his free time, he rented a small bay in what is now a 2,500 sq. foot Extra Performance shop. The business continues to thrive on two founding principles, knowledge and honesty. We've been riding and building bikes for 25 years and we're in business because we love what we do.
